Award winning advert (Institute of Professional Photographers Promotional Campaign of the Year). This work was in support of Mamiya producing a digital back to their medium format cameras so that photographers could use their trusted equipment and skills and still manufacture digital images at source. After researching the magazines in which this ad was to appear, it occurred to me that many images in these mags were mono and moody and they tended to camouflage each other. I also spoke to professional photographers who were all in the profession for artistic purposes initially. I decided to design an ad which was predominantly conceptual, using very vibrant colours. This gave it stand-out as well as appealing to the more general artistic motivation of photographers
